When anxiety appears in our lives, it makes us fearful people. As our alarm system is altered, we perceive everything as something dangerous and hostile.
That fear makes us want to have everything under control. Thanks to that feeling of control, anxious people can have some peace, even if it is fictitious and momentary.
There is a direct relationship between anxiety and the need for control.
Being grounded and minded, observing thoughts and feelings, and recognizing with compassion what needs to be corrected will help change these patterns.
